Chitwan National Park is famous for the best wildlife-viewing national parks in Asia, where you’ll have an excellent chance of spotting endangered One-horned Rhinos, Royal Bengal Tiger, Dears, Monkeys, Wild Boar and up to 544 species of birds. Pokhara is a charming & scenic place with the presence of many beautiful lakes and amazing Fish tail and Annapurna mountain ranges in the background. Pokhara is known as a gateway to the Annapurna Circuit, a popular trail in the Himalayas. Pokhara is the major tourism Hub in Nepal. Ghorepani Poon Hill is situated in the Annapurna Conservation Area Project, trekkers walk through the Oak forest full of birds, green hills, and mixed mountain valleys. The trekkers do not have any risk of getting altitude sickness while doing Ghorepani Trekking in the Annapurna region.

Detailed Itinerary

Arrive Kathmandu

Upon arrival in Kathmandu you are greeted with traditional flower garland by our Representative and transfer to your hotel.

Afternoon proceed on a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Visit Kamari Bahal, the Temple of the Living Goddess, Kamari who is considered to be the incarnation of the β€œvirgin goddess”. The temples, shrines and different sections of the palace are contributions of various dynasties over centuries and epitomize the religious and cultural life of the people.
Continue further to Swoyambhunath stupa, situated west of Kathmandu. It is a 2500 years old Buddhist stupa located at a top of green hillock with the eyes of Buddha painted on its pinnacle overlooking righteous behavior of the valley inhabitants.

Morning visit Patan city, which is also known as Lalitpur or the "city of beauty". Patan is well known for its intricately carved temples, narrow lanes and quaint shops. See the intricately stone-carved Krishna temple, Patan Durbar Square and Hiranyavarna Mahavihar (golden temple).

Bungamati and Khokana date back to the 16th century or earlier, and both villages boast. Destination Bungamati, Khokana, Kathmandu. Altitude: 1,540m. Bungamati is a classic Newari village dating from the 16th century. It sits atop a spur above the Bagmati River. In the center of the lively village square is the large Rato Machhendranath Temple, a shikara-style temple rather than a pagoda. Bungamati is a pleasant traditional Newari village that dates to the 16th century. It overlooks the Bagmati River. The streets are too thin for vehicle traffic. Khokana is another Newari village, a short walk across the paddy fields from Bungamati Nepal is with little towns and villages which are seldom visited by tourists. Those who visit Nepal for the sheer experience of learning more about the lives and cultures of the local peoples will usually enjoy visiting even the simplest little farming village and getting to know the local inhabitants better. Khokana is a simple place, but it is filled with life, history and culture. If you have a real appreciation for such things, this little village is definitely worth a visit. Later drive back to Kathmandu and check-in at your hotel.

Kathmandu – Bhaktapur – Changu Narayan – Nagarkot (Drive)

After breakfast drive 14km east to Bhaktapur, the "city of devotees", the home of medieval
Art and architecture and a classic showcase of medieval Nepalese town life. Bhaktapur Durbar Square - one of attractions in Bhaktapur. The district has an average elevation of around 1,320 meters, and at its highest point is a mere 1,350 meters above sea level. A city of farmers, Bhaktapur is also known for its pottery and weaving. The intricately carved temples, alleyways and timeless atmosphere of this place is simply intriguing. The major sightseeing places in Bhaktapur include Durbar Square, the Golden Gate, Palace of 55 windows, Bell of the barking dogs, Nyatapole Temple, Bhairavnath temple etc. Changu Narayan is located at 12 Km east from Kathmandu at an altitude of 1600m.Changu Narayan Temple, the oldest temple in Kathmandu valley came in existence in 4th century. The temple is adorned by some of the best specimen of stone, wood, and metal craft in the valley. The temple stands as the epitome of culture, religion, history and faith of the Kathmandu valley.

Later continue drive to Nagarkot which is located 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu, and one of the most scenic spots in Bhaktapur district and is renowned for its spectacular sunrise view of the Himalayas when the weather is clear. Nagarkot, at an altitude of 2,175 meter above the sea level. Visitors often travel to Nagarkot from Kathmandu to spend the night so that they can be there for the breath-taking sunrise. Nagarkot has become famous as one of the best spots to view Mount Everest as well as other snow-topped peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal.

Drive to Chitwan National Park- 5/6 hours’ drive. Today Enjoy white water Rafting Enroute at Trishuli River. Lunch will be provided in between the rafting trip. The total duration of rafting will be about 3 hours. Chitwan District is one of 77 districts of Nepal, and is located in the southwestern part of ... Elevation. 415 meter. Bharatpur, the second largest city of Nepal after Kathmandu, as its district headquarter. In the southern region of Nepal, the jungles of Chitwan National Park await you with wildlife experiences like no other. Go in search of the majestic Royal Bengal tiger and watch the greater one-horned rhinoceros roam free, while the great Asiatic elephants move about the jungle in herds. Chitwan National Park is the closest and the ideal place to go for wildlife safari. Witness real wilderness in the jungle, go for Elephant back Safari in the depth of the forest or ride a silent canoe and catch wildlife by surprise. Go for a jungle walk accompanied by an experienced guide who knows the jungle like the back of his head. Lunch will be provided either at En-route Highway Restaurant or at the Hotel. Arriva Chitwan and check in at your pre booked hotel.

Whole day Jungle Safari (Elephant ride, canoe ride, visit to Elephant breeding center, bird watching etc.) There is also a slogan "Visit Chitwan, Ride Elephant" popularized for promotion of tourism in Sauraha. Four persons can ride an elephant at one time. Seated high on the back of a trained elephant exploring the grassland and core area of the park, you became a integral part of the life of the national park. The elephant safari through, not the most comfortable rides, is an amazing experience. And it doesn't take to long spot at least a rhino in the forest. They generally last between 1 and 1.5 hours. If you came to Chitwan to relax, the canoe ride is a good way to do so. Also after a few days in the wild, this is great chance to become calm again with a canoe you will slowly pass the shores of the rivers which are full with amazing crocodiles and beautiful birds. During the trip you are accompanied by a guide who will tell you about the animals. Off course you don’t have to peddle yourself as a boatman joins the ride. Of all the animals, elephant probably are the most graceful. On your visit to the hattisar (Elephant Breeding Center) you will demonstrate how elephant’s meals are prepared and how they eat, and you will get various information on the nature and habits of elephants. The unique center was established in 1985 for the captive breeding of domesticated elephant trapping for domestication. Located in Sauraha the Elephant breeding center was set up to protect the endangered elephants in the region. There are often many baby elephants there and a small museum. The center is walkable from Sauraha but it will take 1 hour depending on the heat and road conditions. Tours or rickshaw transport are available part of the way.

Chitwan - Pokhara (Drive)

Morning drive along a scenic mountain highway to Pokhara valley, famous for views of snow clad mountain peaks, lush green vegetation and its spring fed lakes. In Pokhara commence on a sightseeing tour of Pokhara city and its colorful bazaars. Visit includes Bindabashini temple, Devis falls, Seti Gorge, and Phewa lake side visit. Later continue drive to Begnas Lake and Begnas Lake, Pokhara, Gandaki Zone, Western Region: Begnas Lake is a freshwater lake in Pokhara of Kaski district of Nepal, which located in the south-east of the Pokhara Valley. The lake is the third largest lake of Nepal and second largest, after Phewa Lake, among the eight lakes in Pokhara Valley. Water level in the lake fluctuates seasonally due to rain, and utilization for irrigation. The water level is regulated through a dam constructed in 1988 on the western outlet stream, Khudi Khola.Duration: 4 hours Stop At: Rupa Lake, Pokhara, Gandaki Zone, Western Region Rupa Lake or Rupa Tal is a freshwater lake in Nepal located in the Pokhara-Lekhnath metropolitan municipality. It is the third biggest lake in Pokhara valley of Nepal and at an altitude of 600 m covering area about 1.35 kmΒ² with an average water depth 3 m and maximum depth 6 m take a boat ride of 25 minutes to check-in at the resort.

Pokhara to Ulleri

Check out- Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, 42 km then trek start from Nayapul (1050m) to Birethanti for 25 min trek then you will cross Modi River. From here take left turn following all the way to Burundi Khola to Ramghai/Hille for 2 Hrs. where you will have lunch and after lunch from Ramghai about 1 and half hour and from hille about 30 min to Tirkhedhunga (1577m.) a small gurung village and from here cross the hanging bridge and trek one and half hrs. Up to Ulleri (2073m.). Ulleri is a small gurung village from where you will see the mountain of Annapurna South (7219m.) and Himchhuli (6441m.).

Ulleri to Ghorepani (4 hrs)

From Ulleri village after breakfast start trek to Banthanti for 45min (Village before the forest starts 2350m.) and from Banthanti another one and half hrs. Gentle trek for Nangethanti (2550m.-Lunch place). Here you will walk inside of Oak and rhododendron forest.
After lunch another one hour and 20 min for Ghorepani (2874m.) A beautiful Magar village from where you will see the range of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges.

Ghorepani – Ghandruk – 7 hrs

Early in the morning before breakfast we start our sunrise trip to Poonhill (3210m/ 45min walk) Poonhill is a popular view point in Annapurna Ranges from where we can see the Mountain as: Dhaulagiri I-8167m., Tukuche Peak-6920m., Dhampus Peak-6012m., Nilgiri-7061m., Annapurna I-8091m., Annapurna South-7219m., Himchhuli-6441m., Fishtail-6997m., Annapurna II-7937m., Lumjung Himal-6920m., Manaslu-8163m., and many more.. After sunrise trip return Ghorepani. After breakfast start trek to Deurali for one and half hour up and gentle walk from the ridge. After Deurali another one and half-hour gentle downhill to Banthanti for Lunch. After lunch one and half hour very nice gentle up and down to Tadapani Village (2660m.) From Tadapani we continue walk for another 45 minutes to Bhaisekharka and another 2 hours to Ghandruk (1952 m). Ghandruk is a beautiful Gurung village from where you will get the Mountain view of ; Annapurna South-7219m., Himchhuli-6441m., Fishtail-6997m., Mardi Himal etc.

Trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul and Nayapul – Pokhara (Drive)

Today you will start your trek after breakfast from Ghandruk which takes about 2 and half hours for Sauli Bazar down and flat walk and from Saul bazar another one and half hours easy and flat walk from corner of Modi Khola to Birethanti for lunch. After lunch trek 25 min for Nayapool and drive back to Pokhara.
