Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: ( Saturday) – Delhi
Board the Deccan Odyssey at the Delhi railway station and embark on your enchanting journey, heading towards Agra.
Enjoy a delightful dinner on board and settle in for a comfortable overnight stay on the Deccan Odyssey.
Day 2 : Agra
Today, the Deccan Odyssey arrives at the Mughal citadel of Agra.
- 8:30 AM: Disembark from the Deccan Odyssey and drive to Agra from Tundla Railway Station.
- 9:30 AM: Visit the iconic Taj Mahal, a masterpiece of Mughal architecture.
- 1:00 PM: Enjoy a sumptuous lunch at a city hotel.
- 2:00 PM: Explore the Agra Fort, another outstanding example of Mughal architecture.
- 4:30 PM: Visit Kalakriti to witness the exquisite art of inlay work, known as Pietra Dura, which beautifully adorns the Taj Mahal.
- 7:00 PM: Return to the Deccan Odyssey for dinner.
The train departs at 8:00 PM. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner on board, and relax for another comfortable overnight stay on the Deccan Odyssey.
Day 3 : Sawai Madhopur
Arrive in Sawai Madhopur and spend an exciting day at the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve.
- 8:30 AM: Begin your day with a visit to Ranthambore Village.
- 12:30 PM: Return to the Deccan Odyssey for a delicious lunch.
- 2:30 PM: Disembark for an afternoon safari in the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve.
- 5:15 PM: Return to the Deccan Odyssey for drinks and dinner.
The train departs at 6:30 PM. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner on board, and settle in for another comfortable overnight stay on the Deccan Odyssey.
Day 4 : Jaipur
Arrive in Jaipur, the historic capital of Rajasthan, also known as the Pink City.
8:30 AM: Welcome and disembark at the station. 9:00 AM: Depart for Amber Fort. 10:30 AM: Explore the magnificent Amber Fort. 1:00 PM: Enjoy lunch at a city hotel. 2:30 PM: Visit the City Palace and drive past the Hawa Mahal. 6:30 PM: Return to the Deccan Odyssey.
Departure at 8:00 PM.
Meals provided: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Overnight stay on board the Deccan Odyssey.
Day 5 : Udaipur
Arrive in the princely city of Udaipur.
10:00 AM: Visit the famous City Palace, followed by a boat cruise on Lake Pichola. 1:30 PM: Enjoy lunch at a city hotel. 2:30 PM: Take a walking tour through Udaipur’s Old City and explore the lively, colorful bazaar that still retains its local charm. 6:00 PM: Return to the Deccan Odyssey.
Departure at 8:00 PM.
Meals provided: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Overnight stay on board the Deccan Odyssey.
Day 6 : Vadodara
Arrive in the royal city of the Gaekwads, Vadodara.
8:30 AM: After breakfast, disembark and proceed to visit Champaner.
10:00 AM: Arrive at Champaner and explore the Pavagadh Archaeological Park.
12:00 PM: Leave for Vadodara.
1:30 PM: Return to the Deccan Odyssey for lunch on board.
3:30 PM: Visit the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum.
5:30 PM: Enjoy snacks and tea at the splendid Laxmi Vilas Palace.
7:00 PM: Return to the Deccan Odyssey.
Departure at 8:00 PM.
Meals provided: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
Overnight stay on board the Deccan Odyssey.
Day 7 : Ellora Caves
Proceed to visit the Ellora Caves, a World Heritage site.
12:30 PM: Lunch on board the train.
1:30 PM: Disembark from the train.
2:00 PM: Depart for Ellora Caves.
3:00 PM: Explore the Ellora Caves until 5:00 PM.
6:00 PM: Return to the Deccan Odyssey and board the train.
Departure at 7:00 PM.

Day 8 : Disembark in Mumbai
