Deccan Odyssey Route – The Cultural Odyssey explores the hidden treasures of India, showcasing its breathtaking beauty and diverse cultures. This unforgettable journey begins in the capital city of Delhi. From there, guests travel through the lush greens of Ranthambore to the vibrant lands of Jaipur. Next, the royal guests visit the ancient Mughal capital of Fatehpur Sikri and then Agra, where they can witness the timeless beauty of the Taj Mahal. The journey continues with a visit to the regal city of Gwalior and the sensuous temples of Khajuraho. Finally, the tour reaches the sacred city of Varanasi, where guests can observe the divine beauty of the River Ganges.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: ( Saturday) – Delhi
Board the Deccan Odyssey at the Delhi railway station and begin your enchanting journey, heading to the Tiger Park of Ranthambore!
  • Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
  • Overnight on board the Deccan Odyssey.
Day 2 : ( Sunday ) – Sawai Madhopur
Arrive at Sawai Madhopur and spend a day in the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, once the private hunting ground of the Maharajas of Jaipur. Enjoy a village safari visit the beautiful locales of Sawai Madhopur and an adventurous jungle safari.
  • Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
  • Overnight on board the Deccan Odyssey.
Day 3 : ( Monday ) – Jaipur
Arrive at the historic capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur, often called the Pink City. Explore the forts and palaces with a walk through the colorful bazaars of this beautiful city.
  • Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
  • Overnight on board the Deccan Odyssey.
Day 4 : ( Tuesday ) – Agra
Today the Deccan Odyssey arrives at the Mughal citadel of Agra. Visit the iconic Taj Mahal, and other architectural gems of the Mughal Empire, and the impressive Agra Fort.
  • Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
  • Overnight on board the Deccan Odyssey.
Day 5 : ( Wednesday ) – Gwalior – Orchha
Today the Deccan Odyssey arrives at Gwalior, visit the Majestic Gwalior fort. Later board the train for Orchha. Visit the fort, visit the Temple, and experience village life as well.
  • Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
  • Overnight on board the Deccan Odyssey.
Day 6 : ( Thursday ) – Khajuraho
Arrive at the historic city of Khajuraho, which beholds the World Heritage Monument the Chandela Temple complex. Visit the Mahadev Temple.
  • Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
  • Overnight on board the Deccan Odyssey.
Day 7 : ( Friday ) – Varanasi
Arrive at Varanasi – The cradle of Mankind the oldest living city on this planet. Visit Temples & Ghat area, experience the lively bazaar and the mystic chaos. Enjoy a boat ride on the Holy Ganges.
  • Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
  • Overnight on board the Deccan Odyssey.
Day 8 : ( Saturday ) – Delhi
Early this morning, after breakfast, you will disembark at Delhi Railway Station. Bid farewell to the Deccan Odyssey as your royal passage through the grand vistas of India comes to an end.Breakfast on board
