Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: ( Saturday ) – Mumbai
 

Board the Deccan Odyssey at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and embark on your enchanting journey to Vadodara, the royal city of the Gaekwads. Enjoy a delightful dinner on board and settle in for a comfortable overnight stay on the Deccan Odyssey.

Day 2 : ( Sunday ) – Vadodara
 

Today, you arrive in the royal city of Vadodara, once ruled by the Gaekwads.

  • 8:30 AM: After a delicious breakfast, disembark from the train to begin your day of exploration.
  • 10:00 AM: Arrive at Champaner and visit the Pavagadh Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
  • 12:00 PM: Head back to Vadodara.
  • 1:30 PM: Enjoy lunch on board the Deccan Odyssey.
  • 3:30 PM: Visit the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum, home to a vast collection of art and artifacts.
  • 5:30 PM: Delight in snacks and tea at the splendid Laxmi Vilas Palace.
  • 7:00 PM: Return to the Deccan Odyssey.

Day 3 : ( Monday ) – Udaipur

  • 1:30 PM: Enjoy a delightful lunch at a city hotel.
  • 2:30 PM: Embark on a walking tour through the vibrant Old City of Udaipur, exploring its bustling, colorful bazaars that retain a unique local charm.
  • 6:00 PM: Return to the Deccan Odyssey.

  • Today, you arrive in Jodhpur, ready to explore the majestic Mehrangarh Fort.

    • 10:00 AM: Disembark from the train and begin your sightseeing tour of Jodhpur.
    • 10:30 AM: Visit the imposing Mehrangarh Fort, a stunning example of Rajput architecture.
    • 1:30 PM: Return to the Deccan Odyssey for a delightful lunch.
